Ambel Ltd

The business encourages, advises and mentors start-up and pre-start food enterprises and budding entrepreneurs. The main work is currently delivered through the Business courses at The School of Artisan Food www.schoolofartisanfood.org at Welbeck in Nottinghamshire, alongside teaching undergraduates at Nottingham Trent University. We also serve individual clients both in the UK and overseas.

Practices

The organisation is run by Yvonne O'Donovan and occasionally associates and partners to deliver to public and voluntary sector for larger contracts. We source all food and drink from local, ethical suppliers (eg Welbeck Farm Shop, Sheffield Organic Growers, Manor Farm Dairy, Forge Bakehouse etc) when needed. We use a low-carbon vehicle and cycle where practical. We are in the process of upgrading office space to a more sustainable building with double-glazing. In the future we would hope to include solar and wind energy in our design.
