Likewise Sheffield

They provide information, advice, and support to help individuals make more informed choices around alcohol and drugs. Working with people over the age of 18, they offer dedicated and professional support to promote safer behaviours.

Practices

Their services aim to reduce risk-taking behaviour through prevention, intervention, and tailored support. They also help individuals achieve and sustain recovery from problematic alcohol and drug use through a range of treatment options.

Support is available regardless of the challenges or disadvantages someone may be facing. Their approach includes one-to-one sessions, group work, and peer support.

They run a Breakfast Club that offers a free hot breakfast every Monday to Friday for anyone in recovery. The club takes place from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Likewise Recovery Hub, located at Portland House, 243 Shalesmoor, Moorfields, Sheffield S3 8UG.

They also deliver Budget Bites, a recurring six-week cooking course in partnership with residents of Bevan Court. Through this programme, participants learn to cook a new recipe each week while developing key skills such as knife techniques, food hygiene, and flavour balancing.
