Join us for this workshop to find out about food growing and composting in Sheffield. Find out about the SHefFood working group and what the growing scene in Sheffield is producing and composting. This is an invitation to all previously involved to come along and reconnect with old friends and also to anyone with an interest in growing / composting to meet new people with a similar passion.
Whether you’re from a community allotment, a food growing organsiation or just curious about how people and communnities can collectively grow and harvest for Sheffield, come and join us.
ShefFood is a member-led food partnership, so we will ask you about the culture, values and priorities you want to see in the groups in which you participate, and outline the steering group roles we are recruiting so they can be shaped by you.
The purpose of this event is:
•To reconnect with people working in the city on the different aspects of food growing and composting, community food provision, good food economy and engage wider citizens and actors in food system work.
•To update on what ShefFood has been doing and listen to what people see as the role for the partnership going forward.
