Good Food Economy Meeting

ShefFood Good Food Economy Working Group – Reconnect workshop

Hey there! Join us in person for the Good Food Economy Working Group – Reconnect workshop. It’s the perfect chance to come together, share ideas, and spark new collaborations around building a thriving, sustainable food economy.

This is a workshop to recap the work done so far to build a good food economy in Sheffield, to explore the barriers to shifting procurement in the city, and identify any opportunities on the horizon e.g. with City Goals or the new devolution settlement for South Yorkshire.

We have planned 3 workshops, 1 for each working group, to get alongside you and reconnect. We feel it is important to listen, understand current action/ issues, identify support needed, and for groups to seed future action.

ShefFood is a member-led partnership, so we will ask you about the culture, values and priorities you want to see in the groups in which you participate, and outline the steering group roles we are recruiting so they can be shaped by you.

The purpose of this event is:
•To reconnect with people working in the city on the different aspects of the good food economy and engage wider citizens and actors in food system work.

•To update on what ShefFood has been doing and listen to what people see as the role for the partnership going forward.
