Open Kitchen Social Club

Open Kitchen Social Club was founded in 2014 as a social eating project in the centre of Sheffield. They provide food, peer support, and a place to meet for people seeking sanctuary (destitute asylum seekers, refugees, migrants) and anyone in food or social poverty. They currently run two weekly cafes at St Andrew's on Mondays and the Sanctuary on Tuesdays. Food is provided free of charge to ensure that it is accessible to those in the most need and that everyone remains on equal terms.
