Ever wondered what alternative types of food provision look like? Keen to learn about culturally appropriate food provision? Interested in expanding your food provision beyond your local neighbourhood?
Come and learn from ADIRA!
ADIRA is a survivor-led mental health and well-being service that supports Black individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The organisation delivers culturally appropriate, culturally competent, and person-centred services that take an innovative, outside-the-box approach to care.
Part of this care involves their Food Pharmacy where people can pay reduced prices for meat, fish, fresh food and store cupboard items.
After our last meeting, we have listened and adjusted. From now on, ShefFood Community Food Provision Working Groups will involve visiting a food provider, peer learning and an opportunity to chat amongst ourselves!
